As many of you may know, I write for a newspaper called The Restless Times. I collaborate with some of the most talented people I know, and I think it’s time some of them get to introduce themselves to you.
MEET THE RESTLESS GIRLS
Darcy Campbell– Editor-in-Chief
@therestlesstimes — @darcyynic
My name is Darcy Campbell and I am the editor-in-chief and founder of The Restless Times Newspaper. I think that the right to education is one of the most important things in the world and I am also love’s biggest advocate. I created the newspaper because I believe that the world needed kinder energy than the energy that news outlets such as Fox News generate.
Abby Strangward– Assistant Editor

I’m a 15 year old Aussie girl with a passion for all things art. You’ll probably find me surfing along the south coast or clutching a laptop in one hand and a mango smoothie in the other. I live for late nights, good breakfasts, and documenting everything around me in film, words and photos.
I contribute to the restless times because it embodies everything I believe in, and everything I want to do in the world. The Restless Times has opened up a world of possibilities in my heart, and every word I write for the newspaper sparks more hope in my heart. I believe we can all make a difference, and this is only the beginning.
My name’s Jemimah, and my aim in life to spread as many smiles as I possibly can! I’m passionate about people, and helping them to be as happy and healthy as possible, which I try to do through creativity, kindness, and understanding. I love being part of Restless because it gives me the chance to do just that, on a much bigger and more exciting scale, and using the thing I love to do – write!

Hello I’m Aleyna and I’m a photographer for the Restless Times! Let me tell you about myself. Music is a huge part of my life, if it weren’t for the combo of music and the internet I probably wouldn’t be the person I am today. I have a light and happy heart, the littlest things can make me the happiest person. I love to explore new things and you’ll probably always catch me at a coffee shop! I contributed to The Restless Times because it gives me and many talented young women the opportunity to share their though process. The environment that these girls have created is beyond from what I expected, they are the most compassionate people I’ve met in a while. I’m so happy to be working with them, and I hope you enjoy our work.🦋🌞💐

Hi! I’m Miah and I’m a writer and photographer for The Restless Times. I love being part of the Restless family. We’re a bunch of girls from all over the globe who share the passions of writing, art in various mediums, educating ourselves about the world and striving to be better people. The Restless Times has changed my life in so many ways; I am more conscious about what I say, what I choose to eat, where I buy my clothes from and how I interact with others. I’m incredibly proud of all the hard work we put into each issue; they may take a few minutes to scroll through but believe me when I say they take months of preparation! ‘Restless’ has given me hope as being restless to me means I can be myself, at ease, work on what is important to me and remove what isn’t. There’s no room for negativity in Restless, and no room for excuses either. Positivity and productivity in my opinion, and let me tell you, being friends with girls who share the same mindset but aren’t afraid to tell you when you’re wrong, is an incredible feeling.
I’m a young soul living in a small European town, always busy writing messy poems and making creative messes. A big believer that things can and need to be changed for the better and for equality in this big world.

My name is Jessica and I am an editor and writer for the restless times. I am a huge lover of poetry, literature, and tea! Sunsets and oceans are my biggest weakness (bring me to the beach around 7pm and I will love you forever). I contribute to The Restless Times because I believe in change. I believe in equality. But most of all, I believe that everyone has a voice and must use it for good. Being part of this lovely community with a dozen other girls has been so inspiring. It is amazing how far the newspaper has gone and how much it has grown in such a short amount of time. I love that so many people are getting involved. I really hope that others find it as uplifting and amazing as I do. Remember, continue to spread positivity and shed awareness on topics you find important! It only takes one person to make a difference.
Hello! My name is Julia and I am a writer for the Restless Times. I joined Restless because I wanted to be apart of a platform that was authentic and be able to meet like minded people. Other than writer I am extremely passionate about theatre, dance, human/animal rights and you can catch me skateboarding. Nice to meet you all, stay groovy xx

Hi, I’m Matenia! I’m a 19 yr old photographer and writer currently living in nyc. I shoot in film and digital for the best of both worlds. I spend time in coffee shops, clubs, and my friend’s fire esape. When i’m not taking pictures or writing, you can find me at a protest with my pentax in hand.
I’m Caitlyn, I’m American-Chinese and was born in Hong Kong and raised in Shanghai. I’m currently living and attending drama school in Paris, and working as many babysitting jobs as possible so I can travel as much as possible! 🙂 I’m a writer, sometime photographer, and Arts Editor for The Restless Times. I joined the team because I love finding little parts of the world, online or not, where young people can speak their minds and actually be listened to and taken seriously. The vision behind The Restless Times encourages young people to continually chase their inspirations and stay curious about the world. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of such a wonderful team of women who want to work together to create an amazing space online for all the world’s restless people, and I hope you enjoy what we do 🙂
These are some of the coolest gals I’ve had the privilege of knowing, and the content that comes from them & inspiration that spews from their souls is truly amazing. Stay tuned for Issue 4, coming June 1st on therestlesstimes.com.
